Dia Fekaris is a 25 year old aspiring YA author. She graduated from Portland State University in 2014 with a BA in Film and English, and a minor in Creative Writing. In 2016, she was accepted into Pacific University’s MFA Residency Writer’s Conference for their winter term.

She loves spoiling her dog, going camping with her family, and cheering on the Portland Thorns FC. As a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon-Do, one of her favorite hobbies is critiquing the effectiveness of a character’s fighting technique in TV shows or movies. The general consensus is if you punch somebody in the head more than once, you’re not punching them hard enough.

Dia still lives in Portland, Oregon and juggles her full-time job with her passion for writing. She is currently trying to find the perfect agent to represent her work.
